This simple baby jumpsuit is knitted with warm and soft wool. Try this pattern for your little one. Your baby will feel nice and cozy wearing this simple woolen overall made with your love. You can modify the pattern and use cotton yarn to make light demi season jumpsuit or summer romper with short sleeves and legs.

Materials needed:

  • U.S. 2.5 (3 mm) circular needles (or equivalent to obtain correct gauge)
  • U.S 2.5 (3 mm) short circular needles or DPNs (or equivalent to obtain correct gauge)
  • Cable needle.
  • Stitch markers.
  • Stitch holders.
  • Tapestry needle.

Yarn:
Main color: Cappuccino, Zegna Baruffa, Lace weight yarn
(100% Merino, 1640 yards (1500 m)/100 g), knit with 6 strands
OR any Fine (2) weight yarn (275 yards (250 m)/100 g)
Approx. 270-322-423-541 yards (245-292-384-492 m).

Contrast color: Brown Melange, Zegna Baruffa, Lace weight yarn
(100% Merino, 1640 yards (1500 m)/100 g), knit with 6 strands
OR any Fine (2) weight yarn (275 yards (250 m)/100 g)
Approx. 170-201-265-339 yards (155-183-241-308 m).

Yarn amount is given for Fine (2) weight yarn. For Lace weight, multiply by 6.
Note! Changing colors tip given in the pattern can be used only if you knit with multiple strands of yarn held together.

Gauge: 25 sts and 36 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch on U.S. 2.5 needles after blocking.
