A sweet simple baby vest which is approximately 18” chest but easily enlarged by adding 4sts/3 rows until you get the chest size you require.

This little vest has been designed with ease in mind and I would love it to be your ‘go to’ pattern when you need something quick. I think it will be go for both a baby girl or boy and works well in variegated or plain yarn.

It is made by crocheting the back then the front, join the shoulders and then pick up stitches for the sleeve cuffs. If you have enough wool (you may need a 2nd ball) you could turn the sleeve cuffs into sleeves.

It really is a super sweet versatile little vest. I have a friend who “DOSEN”T do crochet garments“ and I am proud to say she made it with no problems at all (Jean’s is the one with the cheeky monkey embellishment)

I hope you enjoy making this little sweetie but I am here to answer any questions.
