The most simple beanie and bootie pattern. Great for beginners that have mastered the simple techniques of decreasing (knit 2 together) and increasing (Make 1). The booties are knitted from the bottom which means there are no tricky stitches to pick up.
Beanie and booties are knitted on straight needles with a seam down the back.
You can embellish with little tabs or bows, or leave plain.
You can also choose whether to make eyelets in the booties and make a crochet chain for ties or with ribbon.
Always a great gift for new mums - make sure to knit in something super soft for baby’s head - a super smooth merino or soft alpaca or angora.
