This headband features a decorative braid knit in stockinette while the remainder of the band is knit in garter stitch. The headband starts with a provisional cast-on, is knit back and forth, and is joined by grafting.

The size is easily adjustable and gauge is not crucial.

I chose North Bay Fiber Heritage, a locally sourced DK-weight yarn that blooms and softens when washed. It feels warm and soft on your ears.
