About the design:
This pattern is a simple cable design that is highly recommended for both those who are experienced with cables as well as beginners. It is a quick and enjoyable knit that is easily modified to suit the needs of the knitter.

Notes about the pattern:

1. The pattern is written for a larger head (it is suggested you cast on with 104 sts). However if larger or smaller sizes are wanted, increase or decrease the pattern by multiples of 8 to achieve the desired size.
2. The recommended ribbing is 1 x 1, although the pattern will support alternate ribbing styles, so long as they require an even number of sts.
3. The decreases do not need to be modified so long as the pattern is knit with multiples of 8 cast on.

Recommended number of skeins:
If using the Madeline Tosh, only 1 skein is needed. If using the Berroco, 2 skeins are recommended. If using an alternate yarn, follow the recommended yardage range.
