A lovely and speedy knit - this headband can be completed in an evening for an experienced knitter or two for a beginner.

The headband can be made in any size for children or adults, if you are making for a babe under 3 yrs) please don’t add the button as this could prove to be a choking hazard.

The gauge isn’t too important for this pattern ans you will be measuring against the individuals head. There is a stretch to the cable which give flexibility to the knitted headband.

You can opt to add any flourish to the headband in place of the button including knitted or crochet flowers, bows etc.
