This pattern is for a simple crochet half hexagon to complement my simple crochet hexagon pattern.

Both patterns are great for using up scrap yarn left over from larger projects like crochet-alongs, blankets, or yarn kits.

For that reason, I haven’t specified a finished size or gauge. Simply use the yarn and hook that make your heart sing!

Although the finished motif looks intricate, it uses only basic stitches and is suitable for adventurous beginners.
