I bought some beautiful pairs of resin hoop earrings a few years ago from a handmade seller on Etsy and they were so amazing! Comfortable to wear and made a bold statement without that dangly feeling of most large earrings. I’ve been toying all year with the idea of making the same shape with crochet, and here it is!

Size 10 crochet thread, any color, approx 20 yards
Size 1.65 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle and scissors
2 flat back post earring findings, no more than 5 mm diameter, OR 2 ball with small ring post earring findings
Closed metal jewelry hoops, any size
Wire cutters to cut the hoops
Quality jewelry glue like E600 for flat back posts
