A knit hat doesn’t need to be fancy and many people prefer a simple beanie (or toque for us Canadians) to keep warm during the colder months.

This is a simple hat that is designed for the average adult head (approximately 22 in / 55 cm head circumference) that can easily be customizable to fit any head size by adding or removing stitches to the cast on number.

I like Loops and Threads Charisma for these hats but this pattern works with any bulky weight yarn.

One ball of the above yarn is enough to make one hat (with enough leftover to make one of my headband patterns).
