These coasters are, I believe, a good intro to lace project. It doesn’t have any purling but it includes 3 of the most common decreases and lots of yarnovers. They take very little time to make and it’s pretty satisfying to have your project finished quickly. There is a chart, but it is easy to follow and it comes with complete written instructions as well.

They would look awesome if you made them in shades of the same color, in the color scheme of your kitchen or dining room, or one for each color of the rainbow!

They could also be small washcloths for your face or for babies….
