Simple Leaf Bookmark
This is a crochet pattern and a video tutorial for a simple leaf bookmark, worked with hook size D (3.25 mm) and 100% mercerized cotton yarn category 2. Specifically I used YarnArt Begonia. Other option is 100% mercerized cotton thread size 3.
This is the perfect project for a last-minute crochet gift—quick, fun, and charming. If you sell at craft fairs or markets, it’s a great item to make in batches, since it uses only a small amount of yarn and works up fast. It’s a low-cost addition to your inventory that’s sure to catch the eye. Or, you can simply make one for yourself—sometimes it’s just fun to crochet something cute and whimsical, no special occasion needed!
You can use it as a bookmark, a decorative leaf, or an appliqué for other crochet projects—like little girls’ summer hats, dresses, cushion covers, and more. The possibilities are endless, so let your creativity run wild!
The pattern is written in English using the US crochet terminology. The video tutorial is in English.
