Included are patterns for both mittens and fingerless gloves. It is an excellent project for anyone just learning to use double pointed needles or new to mitten making. It’s a fun, simple pattern and knits relatively fast since only one color is used.

They are knit in the round on dpns starting from the cuff and finishing at the fingers with an ‘afterthought thumb.’ The thumb is held on scrap yarn as a placeholder and finished up at the end.
