These mittens are knitted flat and designed for knitters who do not enjoy knitting in the round. The striped mitts use 3 stitches: knit, purl, and a make 1 increase.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, they are knitted in DK weight acrylic yarns (double knitting/light worsted/8 ply) and use less than a 50g skein in each of two yarn shades.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic In Dark Grey Mix and Light Grey Mix shades.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, and a stitch holder.

SIZES
One size only - Adult small-medium.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include seaming, increases and knitting stripes.
