Beanies; so many to choose from, am I right? There are a lot of complex beanies out there which are beautiful, but I can never find one that’s just right; they’re either too tight, too warm, or too pointy for my taste. So I set upon creating a pattern for a nice and simple rounded beanie to give my head a gentle hug in those chilly months!

For this pattern, you will need:
Chunky weight yarn - I used James C Brett’s Marble Chunky Yarn in the shade MC49
A 6mm hook
Darning needle
Scissors

This pattern has the following sizes (measurements are the head circumference in inches:
Tween’s Small - 20-21
Tween’s Large/Women’s Small - 21-22
Women’s Large/Men’s Small - 22-23
Men’s Large - 23-24

If you find the finished product is too long/short for your liking, remove or add rows at the end as you wish :) There are some instructions on what to look for to make sure your hat is the right way round at the end of the pattern, so don’t forget to keep reading!
