Welcome to the Simple Scrunchie Pattern!
I hope you enjoy making the Simple Scrunchie! It is such a good way to use up some scraps of yarn and make a matching scrunchie to go with big projects, or just make a bold statement.

You will need:

• 3mm crochet hook
• DK yarn scraps (Paintbox DK was used in the example)
• Wool needle
• Scissors
• Hair Tie/Ponytail holder Tension/Adaptations I made this with DK yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. But it would work equally well with different weights of yarn, it would just change some of the final dimensions of the scrunchie. Suggested hook sizes:
• 4ply – 2mm hook
• DK – 3/4mm hook (depending on the yarn)
• Aran/Worsted – 6mm hook
• Chunky – 8mm hook
