This lovely shawl is knitted from the top center down.
The Dream in Color yarn Jilly is beautiful and a true dream to knit with. I used Surf #711 which gives the shawl a subtle variation in the color patterning.

In addition to the pattern instructions are provided that contains image instructions for how to add the beads to the shawl while you are knitting. You will need a small crochet hook that fits into the bead to pull the yarn through it when you need to add the beads.

The Beads are Optional. The size of the beads I used were 6/0 but any size that is appropriate for your yarn can be used.

For the 6/0 beads I used a US 7 thread crochet hook. Care should be used that the thread you use does not split when pulling it through the bead.

You can also use dental flosser loops to put the beads on your thread/yarn. Just open the straight end to thread it through the loop of your knitting. These are available at most stores.
