These simple snowmen are the perfect addition to your holiday season. No complicated stitches or directions. They knit up fast on straight needles and can be used for gifts for anyone during the holiday season. Personalize with a variety of colors for each snowman’s hat and scarf. Each of the snowmen stand on their own. The only stitches used are knit, purl, knit two together, and purl two together. This pattern is perfect for beginners!

Each snowman is approximately 8 inches tall and 5 inches wide. Gauge is not overly important in this pattern. You may end up with a snowman slightly larger or smaller than those in the pictures.

You will need some basic sewing skills to sew the snowman parts together (ie. the buttons and carrot nose to the head and the head to the body). You will need white and orange yarn, yarn for the scarfs and hats in whatever color you desire, buttons, polyester stuffing, a sewing needle, a tapestry needle, white sewing thread, and black sewing thread.
