Join me for my very first Tunisian Crochet advent pattern!

The Simple Stitch Advent Wrap is designed for a 24-day 4ply mini skein advent, with each mini skein around 20g. It is also a great way to use up leftover sock yarn and 4ply minis from your stash.

The wrap uses Tunisian Simple Stitch and Tunisian Knit Stitch, with the colours changing throughout the project to create a simple, striped fabric.

Please note that this is a Tunisian Crochet pattern, not a knitting pattern. Although the finished fabric has a knitted appearance, the whole wrap is worked using a Tunisian Crochet hook.

Yarn
The pattern is designed for:
• 24 x 20g 4ply mini skeins
• Approximately 400–425m per 100g
• 100% wool or 75% wool / 25% nylon

Finished size
Approximately 35cm wide x 212cm long

Hook & notions
• 5mm Tunisian Crochet hook, long enough to accommodate a piece approximately 35cm wide
• Scissors
• Darning needle

Gauge
26 stitches x 20 rows = 10cm x 10cm

Stitches used
Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS), Tunisian Knit Stitch (TKS), Last Tunisian Stitch (LTS), Chain and Return Pass.
