This pattern is for a simple tea cosy which goes over the top of a 1L capacity teapot.

(I designed this one as I could only find patterns which wrap around the pot and it is certain I would cover one of those in tea on a regular basis!)

It is worked in the round and uses a basic stranded pattern with two alternating colours.

There is a gap where the spout and handle cause the cosy to lift away from the table, but it still keeps my tea toasty.

I used Icelandic wool which I had bought on holiday but any worsted weight yarn will do.
