This crochet pattern is easy for beginners, but you need to know how to work in the round. It includes photos of the stages for creating the bag and is very quick to crochet, especially if you are working in chunky yarn. I used 2 x 100g balls of Robin Chunky for the bags in the photos but I have also used Paintbox Yarns Simply Chunky, one in cream and one in washed teal. I have also used Hayfield Bonus Chunky in softmint. There is no need to use expensive yarn for this project because it turns out great whatever you use.

I really love the simplicity of the pattern and the uses you can get out of the finished product. They are fantastic for storing your WIP’s in, which is what I use them for. My daughter uses them for storing bits and pieces in and keeps it on a hook in her room for easy access. It could also be used as a gift bag, a handbag or beach bag. Children will even love using it for role playing games, like shopping. The list is endless. In addition to this, you can be creative with the colour choices to add your own personal touch and the size is adjustable.

The pattern is available in UK and US Terminology from the following sources:-

I hope this brings you #creativejoyandinspiration. Let’s get yarning!
