This pattern is available for free.

The Simple Crochet Treat Basket takes under an hour to make and assemble and is sure to pack a punch in the department of fun to receive as a handmade gift category. It’s easily customizable by changing yarn color or treats, as well as making a great stash buster which we all can benefit from. A Win - Win all around!

For the Basket
Size I/5.5mm hook (or preferred hook size)
Stitch Marker(s)
Tapestry needle
Worsted Weight Yarn (Medium, Size 4) in the brand and colors of your choice. I used less than a skein for each color.
In this pattern I used:
Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in Barley and Grey Marble (Medium/Size 4, 3oz skein)
Red Heart Super Saver in Buff Fleck (Medium/Size 4, 5oz skein)

Other Supplies
Treat bags. I was able to use the bags that my chocolates were purchased in for this project, but regular treat bags you can purchase in bulk are great to have around.
Twine or ribbon for tying the treat bag closed.
Pinking Shears (optional) for cutting extra length off the top of the treat bag.
