This pattern is written to accommodate any yarn. The hat is wonderfully stretchy, and when unstretched will fit a fairly small head about 16”. Fully stretched, the hat will fit up to a 23” head, but still be comfortable.

You can adapt the hat length for a cuffless hat, a cuffed hat, or a slouchy hat.

CORRECTION/CLARIFICATION to pattern:

For the decreases, there should be an asterisk at the very beginning of the row, and at the end of the row it should say “repeat from *” Essentially, you will repeat the stitches across the entire row.
