These squares work up easily and quickly.
Using self-striping yarn yields a beautiful result. Squares worked up in a solid color are just as eye-catching. ~

• Pattern is written in US terms.
• SAMPLE is made using Caron Blossom Cakes in “Tide Pool”.
• Size J hook. (6.0 mm)
• Approx. 44 - 48 yds.
• Squares measure approx. 8” x 8”.
• Squares have 26 stitches per side.

STITCHES USED: CH, SC, HDC, DC.
EXTENDED DC (EDC): Instructions given in pattern.

SAMPLE BLANKET ASSEMBLY DETAILS: A total of 12 squares were made using Caron Blossom Cakes in “Radiant Rainbow” and “Tide Pool”. Also, some leftover Hobbii Cascata in # 9 (Rio Verde) was used. The squares were laid out 3 x 4 and joined with a tight join. After they were joined a round of Moss Stitch was done all around, making SC, CH 2, SC in the corners. The last round of Moss Stitch was done using the same color as the joining. (Caron Blossom Cake in “Tide Pool”. Blanket measures approx. 26” x 34”.
