I wanted a simple scarf for my lovely Hawthorne Belmont yarn. Simplesse fits the bill with subtle ruffles and short rows. The 4 row pattern is quick to memorize.

Gauge is unimportant. Using 1 skein of Hawthorne and size 4 needles the finished scarf, unblocked, measures about 5” x 82”.
