The simplest garment to knit is a boxy tee like this one. It’s just two squares that are worked exactly the same before joining the shoulders and sides. This simple tee features an easy slip-stitch pattern alternating with sections of stockinette stitch, creating textured stripes. The hem and shoulders use a mock rib pattern (again with slipped stitches). When the pieces are finished, they are joined at the shoulders with a 3-needle bind-off and the sides are joined with mattress stitch. The included video tutorial walks you through the complete process of knitting the tee – from choosing the right size, swatching and gauge, to the entire knitting process from cast on to bind off.
