I wanted to design a piece for years and decided better late than never. I saw this yarn by Miss Babs and at first, I thought I’d design a bridal shawl. As I began to work the design and use this beautiful yarn, the simplicity and flow made it clear that the shawl could be worn anytime. I love all things sparkly and Miss Babs Estrellita Fingering Weight yarn was the perfect choice. It’s a fast and fun knit. It can also be made with different weight yarns but know that the size will be affected. I hope you’re as excited about my first pattern as I am. Happy knitting!

Materials
One US 8/ 5mm, 32”/181cm or longer circular needle - yes I used a size 8 needle!
800 yards (2 skeins) of Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply Fingering or Miss Babs Estrellita (400 yards/365m per 100g, 100% merino wool, the Estrellita has 8% lurex for sparkle)
You can use any weight yarn but it will impact the size.
Final Measurements: 70 “/177 cm wide x 62”/157cm tall
Tapestry needle to weave in ends

Gauge 16 stitches/ 4 inches on US 8/5mm in garter stitch after wet blocking.
