The Simply Basic Pullover, named for its simple construction and essential, versatile style, is worked seamlessly from the top down in the round.

The yoke is shaped using raglan increases and German short rows to elevate the back neck. After the sleeve stitches are placed on hold, the body is connected with new underarm stitches and worked in stockinette stitch to the hem. Then, the sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round to the cuff. Finally, the body hem, cuffs, and neck band are completed using broken rib stitch technique.
