This winter headband was made using three different colors of the Big Twist worsted weight yarn (Medium 4). You could also use the same color to make a solid color headband, but you still need three skeins/strands for this pattern. The pattern starts with casting on and joining in the round, knitting the body of the headband, and then casting off. The circumference of the final product is 18 inches (45.72 cm) and it is 4 inches (10.16 cm) tall. This pattern fits most adults. However, it can be adjusted to fit smaller or larger heads.

It is knitted bottom-up using US 11 (8.0 mm) knitting needles and a 41 cm (16 inches) cord. You will also use one stitch marker, a large darner needle, and scissors.
