Ribbed beanie - very stretchy and bounces back into shape (vs staying stretched out like a lot of crochet garments do). Thick and warm with closely interwoven stitching.

Hat can be made normal beanie style, or more like a hood / bonnet with ear flaps and ties and pompoms.

Sizes: S (Toddlers/Little Kids) / M (Big Kids/Small Adults) / L (Large Adults)

Skill Level: Easy-Intermediate (only very basic stitches are used, but there is some shaping with increasing and decreasing which might be intimidating for beginners). Many photos are included to help with the written instructions. Knowledge and experience with BLO/FLO will be helpful but the pattern explains what to do in the pictures.

Materials: Worsted Weight yarn - exact yardage unknown, less than 1/2 skein ea of 2 colors “I Love This Yarn” will make a size L hat.
H hk or size needed for gauge

Gauge: 24 sts and 16 rows in 3 inches square (Sl St BLO)
