Simply Sensational Scrap Throw
This surprisingly simple, yet beautiful throw uses 650-700 yards of a bulky base yarn and 25-30 balls of scrap yarn (each between 20 and 40 yards)The scraps should be a variety of weights and textures (e.g. fuzzy, bouclé, furry, ribbon, etc)
Slipped stitches create an almost stain glass effect. The throw measures about 42”x54”. Size can be easily changed by adding more stitches and simply making it longer. Stitch pattern is a multiple of 4+3, so add stitches in increments of 4. Gauge is not really important here. (Close is good enough)
