Two patterns in one! One larger soap sack and one smaller done in beautiful yet simple lace patterns and dropped stitches. These linen sacks are worked flat, then seamed, gathered with a silk ribbon at the top. Use a size US5 or 6 straight needles for the lace look you like best. One hank of linen makes 4 or 5 soap sacks. If you have never tried lace before or need a great quick gift idea, this pattern is for you!
