Sir Prance-a-lot is always ready for action, rescuing damsels in distress and other daring deeds! You can knit up your own knight in woolly armour with this pattern. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the knight is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g in each colour

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling and a stitch holder.

SIZES
One size only - The knight is 14.5cm tall (including the helmet).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The shield is decorated with a red cross in chain stitch embroidery.
