This smart, v-neck sweater is knit in the round from the top down. Increases are worked in the deep neckband and short rows shape the v-neck opening. The body and long sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch, in the round; both are finished with ribbing.
Instructions are given for cropped length as pictured and also standard length and yardages are given for both.

  • Working in the round
  • Knit and purl increses
  • German Short Rows
  • Keeping track of changing rates of increases
  • Working with DPNS or magic loop (for the sleeves)

Cropped length:

US 4 / 3.5 mm & US 5 / 3.75 mm dpns or longer circular needle for magic loop method for sleeves.

Notions:
10 stitch markers, holders / waste yarn, tapestry needle.

To fit chest size:

22 sts & 34 rounds in 4 inches / 10 cm square in stockinette stitch in the round on larger needles (adjust needle size if necessary, to get gauge). Use needles 1 size smaller than gauge needle for ribbing.
