The SISTERHOOD SET is a cowl and hat pattern pair, designed to use two skeins of contrasting yarn for both pieces. Easy to knit and featuring an eye-catching motif, you will want to make these in every color combination you can imagine!

For Cowl: Approximately 22.25” in circumference by 7.5” in height

For Hat: Approximately 16.25, (18, 19.75)” in circumference by 10.75, (10.75, 10.75)” in height with brim unfolded

YARN REQUIREMENTS
DK or worsted weight wool or wool blend yarn, ideally in a rustic or woolen spun yarn, and a DK weight wool or wool blend yarn, ideally in a smoother or worsted spun yarn.

Different yarn textures were intentionally chosen to provide further textural and visual interest in this design. The same yarn in contrasting colors can be used for both Color A and Color B if you choose.

For Cowl:
Color A – approximately 115 yards
Color B – approximately 80 yards

For Hat:
Color A – approximately 115, (125, 135) yards
Color B – approximately 62, (70, 80) yards

Samples use The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Pishkun DK (100% Montana and Wyoming Rambouillet; 255 yards/100 grams) in “Dumplin’” (Color A) and The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Juicy DK (100% superwash Merino; 274 yards/100 grams) in “Legends of the Little People” (Color B).

NEEDLES
For Cowl: suggested 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, 24” in length

For Hat: suggested 4.5 mm (US 7) circular needles, 16” in length and 4.0 mm (US 6) needles, 16” in length; plus, DPNs in larger needles
