Sìth (pronounced ‘shee’) is the Scottish Gaelic word for ‘peace’. This 1/2 octagon shawl was created with peace and comfort in mind, from its meditative construction, to the way it envelopes the wearer like a gentle hug. I like to wear mine in place of a blanket on the couch or patio while settling into a good book.

NOTES

  • For pattern support, please email wolfandfaunknits@gmail.com
  • Gauge will affect the yardage of the yarn. Due to variaons in personal knitting, and to avoid a game of yarn chicken, I recommend gathering more than enough yarn to complete the project in case you end up needing slightly more. I typically make sure I have 10% more yarn than the pattern calls for to make up for waste yarn or needing more due to my personal gauge and tension.

As always, instructions are in written and chart when applicable. The pattern has been tech-edited and tested.
