Make your own crochet snowflake ornaments to hang on the Christmas tree, give as gifts or sell. A quick easy project perfect for winter time.
Skill Level: Easy/Experienced Beginner
US Terminology
Worked in rounds with very clear instructions that include the written pattern, step by step pictures and a pattern symbol chart. 5 rounds total.
Ornaments measure about 3.75” x 3.25” finished if using #2 fine weight yarn, but can use #3 Dk or #4 worsted if you prefer for a larger ornament.
I used Cotton Fair by Premier which is a cotton/acrylic blend with good stitch definition, but feel free to use any yarn you prefer, these are a great project to use up leftovers and don’t take much yarn at all!
I love creating crochet snowflakes, they make great last minute gifts, Christmas tree ornaments, decorations for the mantle or your festive table, wintery window decorations, use several linked together to make a beautiful garland… I like to include one with all my Christmas cards so everyone who receives a card from me gets an ornament for their tree as well.
