It’s time to get your Mystery Knit Along Shawl Fix with All Wound Up Yarn Shop. This being our 6th Anniversary, we thought “Sixfix” an appropriate name for this fun design. It’s hard to say, but really exciting to knit.

Even thought it’s a mystery, don’t fear. Sixfix is for every skill level. Video tutorials will be included for techniques or stitches that may be new to you. You’ll find a link in the pattern to a YouTube playlist. New tutorials will be added with each new clue release.

When you purchase this pattern, you’ll receive an introduction download and spoiler photo. Read through the intro, gather yarn, needles, and notions, and be ready for the first “clue” release on July 1st. The shawl instructions have been split into 5 parts. Each Thursday in July, you’ll receive then next set of instructions.

As this is a Mystery Knit Along, many knitters like the surprise element. When posting your progress on social media, please use one of the provided images as your first image.

Yarn
3 skeins of fingering weight yarn with at least 100g/400 yards each.
You can use a single or a plied yarn.

All 3 colors should have good contrast. A light, medium, and dark will work best.

Color A: lightest color, solid, light speckle or tonal
Color B: medium color, solid or tonal
Color C: darkest color, solid or tonal, should have strong contrast with A and B.

A typo was found in Clue 1, and has since been corrected. If you downloaded Clue 1 before noon on July 1st, you should download the new file labeled Clue 1, Version 2.
