Sixfix was originally designed as a Mystery Knit Along to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of All Wound Up Yarn Shop. Although the mystery knitting is complete, the pattern is still a fun and engaging project! The pattern has been compiled into one PDF with written instructions, charts and video tutorials.

Sixfix is a great skill building shawl, even for adventurous beginners. You’ll encounter mosaic knitting and twisted stitch cables, but don’t let that scare you. The video tutorials clearly demonstrate each section of knitting where you may have a question.

Yarn
3 skeins of fingering weight yarn with at least 100g/400 yards each.
You can use singles or plied yarn.

All 3 colors should have good contrast. A light, medium, and dark will work best.

Color A: lightest color, solid, light speckle or tonal
Color B: medium color, solid or tonal
Color C: darkest color, solid or tonal, should have strong contrast with B.

This pattern has been tested and tech edited.
