The sock *Sixtus* has a graphic Matrix style pattern - an easy-to-knit slip stitch cable technique. The design requires 2 different sockyarns, one of which can be variegated. Both colours are displayed prominently. A pattern of big lozenges adorns the leg. Columns of slipped stitches are continued across the instep to the toe.

Even though the pattern looks impressive, it is rather easy to knit: In each round, only one colour is used. The colour changes after each round. The cables/twists consist of two stitches only and can be easily worked without a cable needle.

Instructions for heel and toe are not included; these are worked according to your preference.

Yardage: approximately 190 m (210 yds) of each colour.

Die Socke *Sixtus* hat ein grafisches Muster im Stil von Matrix, ideal für zwei verschiedenfarbige Sockengarne, wovon eines auch gern Farbverlauf haben kann. Bei diesem Muster stehen beide Farben gleichermaßen im Vordergrund. Den Schaft zieren große Rhomben, auf dem Oberfuß werden Längsstreifen von Hebemaschen weitergeführt.

Obwohl das Muster eindrucksvoll aussieht, ist es einfach zu stricken: In jeder Runde wird nur mit einer Farbe gearbeitet. Die Farbe wechselt nach jeder Runde. Die Verkreuzungen gehen über zwei Maschen und können ohne zusätzliche Hilfsnadel gearbeitet werden.

In der Anleitung werden Ferse und Spitze nicht näher erläutert; diese werden in gewohnter Arbeitsweise gestrickt.
