The Sk8er Hat is worked top-down in stranded colourwork, beginning with a circular cast-on and a crown shaping. After knitting the body, the work is turned inside out using a german sort row to reverse the direction for the brim. Finally, an i-cord bind-off is worked and secured to the inside, creating a clean and polished edge.
