One of the special parts of living on Fidalgo Island is the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival each Spring. Tulips are in the fields, in our gardens, in the grocery store, in shop windows and everywhere we look. Thousands of people travel to our area to view the stunning fields and taste the freshness of Spring. Our tulips are a tribute to the season and the wonderful place we call home.

Yarn: 1 cake Fidalgo Artisan Yarn’s Beyond Alpaca (50% fine Alpaca/50% Wool, 50g = 110 yards) or equivalent worsted weight yarn. Note: each tulip takes about 15 grams. Each cake will make 3 blossoms.

Gauge: 16 sts dc per 4”. Gauge not critical for this project, however blossom size will be affected.

Finished Size: Approx. 2.5” tall.
