Every spring, people from all over flock to the Valley to look at the tulip fields. Tulips are everywhere, and I knew that I just had to make a blanket with tulips in it. Skagit Valley is known for its tulips, so it’s only right that I published my first pattern to reflect the Valley and Skagit Valley Crochet. I’m so excited to share my pattern with you so you can enjoy the tulips like I can!

Difficulty level: Intermediate
Written in US Standard Terms
Construction: In turned rows and finished with a border in the round.

Following stitches: chain, single crochet, double crochet, bobble stitch. It would also be helpful to be familiar with color changes

Yarn: Worsted (4) weight yarn. Yardage varies from 425 yds to 1740 yds or more depending on the size of the blanket
Hook: 5.5 mm or to meet gauge
Other materials: tape measure, scissors, yarn needle
