Skagit Valley Hot Pad
Every spring, people from all over flock to Skagit Valley to look at our tulip fields. Tulips are everywhere here and I am in love with crocheting tulips! I’m so excited to share my pattern with you so that you can enjoy the tulips like I can!
Difficulty level: Intermediate
Written in US Standard Terms
Approximately 9 inches square when finished
Construction: Work 2 squares in turned rows, which are then crocheted together.
Stitches used: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, and bobble stitch
- It will be helpful to be familiar with color changes.
- There are photo tutorials on how to make a bobble.
Yarn: Worsted (4) weight 100% cotton yarn in at least 3 colors
- 135 yds / 127 m total
- Breakdown by color and sections included in the pattern Hook: 5.0 mm Other materials: scissors, yarn needle
