Skeeter
Skeeter is the next afghan in my series that highlights some of my favorite characters (as well as the ones I love to hate!) from everyone’s beloved wizard school books and movies. Its bright colors, contrasting bobble stitches, and bold fun fur trim provide a cheerful pop of color anywhere in your home you wish to make a statement!
The pattern as written produces an afghan of approximately 54X42 inches and uses 4 skeins I Love This Yarn in Limelight, less than 1/2 skein I Love This Yarn Stonewashed in Berry, 2 skeins Yarn Bee Haute Fur in Magenta, and 2 skeins Yarn Bee Haute Fur in Jetset.
I also used a Random Number Generator in deciding the eyelet ‘pattern,’ as I feel considering the character this represents, a great deal of randomness was needed. You can use a set pattern, make it solid (but it may increase the amount of Limelight you need), or go Random! :)
Crafters should be familiar with (US terms):
• Bo: Bobble Stitch
• Ch: Chain
• Dc: Double Crochet
• Hdc: Half-Double Crochet
• Sc: Single Crochet
• Sl st: Slip Stitch
