For the spooky folks, I’ve crossed crafts and made my popular embroidery pattern a tapestry crochet chart!

Download includes:
-10 page document with helpful tips (including patterns).
(Booklet contains references to colour magic- if that’s not your jam, consider this a heads up. You can skip this page if you’d like)
-stand alone pattern chart as PDF (so you can scale either on your device of choice, or print)
-2 files total are provided
-StitchFiddle links are provided in the document.

Pattern is written in US terminology (with Canadian spelling)

(Please reach out if you have any questions, or issues)

Level: intermediate. (For colour changes/counting in a grid)
This tapestry is created using 5 colours, some with quick colour changes. Confidence in following a grid pattern is important. Stitches are simple, and the only points of caution are quick colour changes and keeping count in your line/grid.
The optional crochet overlay (pins) are also simple stitches, but are sewn on after.

Finished size (of tapestry only- not including fringe or dowel):
Height: 23” (59cm)
Width- 36” (92 cm)
- for finished dimensions you’ll need to factor in the width of the dowel (at least 2” wider), hanging method (will add to height), as well as the fringe length if you’re including one (will also add to the height).

THIS PATTERN MAY NOT BE RESOLD: you may not resell or redistribute this pattern in part or in whole.
You may sell your creations from this pattern- online, in person and on a commission basis: please credit CuteCreepyCrochet for the pattern (and please feel free to share your creations on social media- if you wish to tag, please use CuteCreepyCrochet on IG, Ravelry, Facebook, and TikTok: I’d love to see what you’ve come up with!)

Supplies:
• 4mm hook
• Yarn needle (for attaching tapestry to the dowel/embroidery if you’re adding “pins”)
• Worsted weight Yarn (weight- Medium/4): amounts may vary depending how you address the back (I don’t carry the yarn the entire back). Lion Brand “Pound of Love” used for example- any worsted will work.
Approximately 605 yards/550 meters for Sleet (light grey or other). 285 yards/260 meters Black. 160 yards/145 meters White. 115 yards/105 meters Cherry (or bright red). 46 yards/42 meters Claret (or dark red).
Minimal needed for pin heads, and sharps.
• Wooden dowel or hanging method of choice (I used a dowel with 1” allowance on either side. So, a 38” long dowel for a 36” finished tapestry piece).
