Designed with the beginning colorwork knitter in mind, Skift features bands of simple, easily memorized motifs gradually growing and gaining in impact. Each round requires you to remember only a two or three stitch repeat with no floats longer than three stitches. This makes the colorwork very simple and easy to work. The increases are a simple repeat and are worked in the plain bands of main color that separate the motifs. This makes the yoke even easier to work. If you have yet to become a confident colorwork knitter and want to make a gorgeous colorwork sweater, this is the pattern for you. More experienced knitters will enjoy the peacefulness of this knit.
