For those who want to feel more heat through a hot water bottle cosy than thicker yarns allow.

This pattern uses magic loop - 2 cable way of casting on and knitting in the round. I followed the instructions in Margaret Radcliffe’s book - ‘Circular Knitting Workshop’. Once you have got the hang of this it is a lovely way to work.

Depending on the size of your hot water bottle you can adjust the increases and decreases and length. You can use different weight yarns to suit your comfort.

Please be careful when using the hot water bottle and this cosy especially if you ignore the instructions about not using boiling water…
