This quick baby hat is made using a modified Woven Ladder stitch. It makes the hand dyed yarns of Rhichard Devrieze really sing!

You can adjust the size of the hat and make a grown-up Damn Skippy by changing the stitch count in multiples of 8. The original pattern starts with a circumference of 16” un-stretched.

Note: I love to skip stitches and skip steps but, take it from me, changing needles sizes as directed is very important with this stitch pattern!

Variations: Use a solid for the ribbing and/or for the decreases at top of hat.
