You can easily adjust the length of the mitten and thumb to fit your own hand perfectly.

Yarn
Linkulla Spinneri Trefald – alpaca-silk, (88% Finnish alpaca, 12% wild silk),100 g = 220 m (240 yards). You need 1 skein. The mittens in the picture weigh 70 grams.

Gauge
20 sts, 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) on larger needles.
Start with knitting a swatch, to check that you have the correct gauge.

Needles
Circular needles 3,5 and 4 mm 80 cm (US 4 and 6, 32”)
The smaller needle is used for the cuff ribbing and the mitten body is knitted on the larger needle.

The mittens are knitted using Magic Loop. You can also knit them on DPN:s, but please note that the pattern is written for Magic Loop, so the stitches are divided onto two needles instead of four.

Puikot
Pyöröpuikot 4 mm 80 cm, sekä pienempi puikko 3,5 mm 80 cm resoreihin, tai käsialan mukaan.

Lapaset neulotaan Magic Loop-tekniikalla. Voit myös neuloa ne sukkapuikoilla, mutta ota huomioon, että ohje on kirjoitettu Magic Loop-tekniikalle, eli silmukat on jaettu kahdelle puikolle neljän sijaan.
