A sock from the collection of the Sami Museum Siida in Inari, Finland, inspired Laura Ricketts’s design of this pair of cheerful and cozy socks.

Difficulty Intermediate

Finished Size 9.25” foot circumference and 9.5” long from back of heel to tip of toe.

Yarn Cascade 220 (100% Peruvian highland wool; 220 yd/3.5 oz): #7822 Van Dyke brown (MC), #7827 goldenrod (A), #4147 lemon yellow (B), and #7804 shrimp (C), 1 skein each.

Needles Size 6 (4 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions Markers; stitch holder; tapestry needle.
